Cards on Thursday

Good happy morning to you all! Look at me go!!!! This is day 4 of posting! WOOHOO! I hope to continue next week. I'm still learning my way around posting ahead so we'll see how it goes! A

Anyway, today is a card day and a card I have! I made it to go with my friend Sarah's birthday gift I gave her and I got the idea from my sweet friend http://www.brittnykvilhaug.com/ she made a card using tissue paper in one of her posts recently so I tried it! AND I used the Faber Castell pens and gellatos that I won in one of her freebie friday giveaways! So fun! I LOVE those things! I have decided I need them all!!!!!!

Ok here is my card:

I used colorshine in mint green to splatter around, pink chevron washi tape, a button, some pink paislee twine from the soiree collection and some tissue paper with the edges all marked up! :D

Pulling from my stash in the closet

Good morning! Ok so the title to my blog post today sounds like I'm hiding something or something weird. LOL.....oh well....today is for using products from my stash! My sweet friend had a birthday yesterday and so I pulled out a canvas and made her a sign she can either leave at home or take to her classroom! It was so much fun! I used a variety of Heidi Swapp Colorshine colors. Man, they are GORGEOUS! I LOVE them! I NEED all colors!!!!! :D Anyway-here is what I came up with:

Sorry about the lighting....I took a last minute photo with my phone in the living room....which I have discovered the lighting is awful! But It was late and she came by to pick it up and I wanted to share it today.

Voter Tuesday!

Happy Tuesday Morning! I hope you all are planning to cast your vote. Even if you don't agree 100% with one candidate or another....I went with the one that I believed the most in. We voted early in our house.....so we don't have to fight the lines.

Ok enough on the politics.....I'm not a fan of politics :( blah.

Tuesdays with NoelMignon Kits! :D I shared several items yesterday but saved a layout for today because I wasn't sure I would have time to play again last night....good thing too b/c I was right.....I ended the night with a migraine and Christmas movies! Ha! Here is my layout:

I captured this photo of my lil guy picking the perfect lil pumpkin when we visited a local pumpkin patch with his preschool group. We had so much fun and he was so cute! The pumpkins are on the front porch now and when we leave in the mornings he points to them and says, "pumkin patch?" Love my lil man! I started with a sketch and I'm so sorry but I cannot remember the source. Everything I used was from Noel Mignon's  Willow Creek Kit and I hear there are a few left so hurry over and pick them up! They are CRAMMED full of goodies! She puts together some amazing kits!!!!! :D

Recap Mondays!

Good afternoon! Sorry for the late in the day blog post! Soooo....I will have to work double time this week b/c I was trying to start my blog schedule and everything I am posting today is also things I need tomorrow and Thursday! Maybe I'll save one of my projects for tomorrow since I don't think I'll have time to do anymore tonight.

So weekend recap:

Friday-I subbed at the elementary school...it was fun and I actually enjoyed it. It wears me out though. And Friday night....I SCRAPPED FOR HOURS! Woohoo! Had soooo much fun and it ran into Saturday morning and if you follow me on instagram you saw some sneak peaks! I FINALLY got to dive into Willow Creek from Noel Mignon and she has a few left so hurry over and grab one!!!!!

Sunday was church and relaxation.....ahhhhh :)

And here are some projects I created with the kit:

LOOK! I made cards!!!!! I'm going to start working on adding a few here and there. I really do like a homemade card and I always thought I wasn't good at them at all...but I like these.

This layout I got inspo from last years Creating Keepsakes magazine from October. I used my cricut and some border punches and added drops of some of that FABULOUS colorshine! Yumo! Love that stuff! The picture is of my guys on the recent hayride we took with our church group! Love those boys!

This one I used my cricut again....GO ME! This picture is of all my new friendships that have been developing and are continuing to grow at church! LOVE these girls soooo much! 

I am FAR from done with my kit.....and I would NOT have put it up but my family keeps complaining something about needing a place to sit down eat?! Do any of you know anything about that? I was planning to set up my craft table by the bay window and leave it....mess and all but then I remembered I put a Christmas tree there....humph.....what's a girl to do? I think my family should forgo eating!

Happy Halloween everyone! I hope if you are going out with your lil ghosts and goblins you are safe! We have a play, fall party and then trunk or treating today and then we have to rush to get to church on time. I do NOT like the town celebrating on a Wednesday night. Sorry. It's true. DO. NOT. LIKE. Anyway we will have lots of fun really quick today!

And I used the October Kit from Scrapbook Addiction!!!! LOVE it! It's not the normal October kit and I LOVE that!!!!! :D

Happy Friday Night

Happy Friday! It's been a good day here! Busy, but good! Sorry for the delay in posts but the fall season at my house is H-E-C-T-I-C....I have some layouts I need to share and a few other projects-maybe I'll have time tomorrow or Sunday to get them uploaded. I will work on it I promise! Until then I was able to corral my family together for some family pictures.....they hate when I want family pictures but they did manage to all get dressed and smile for the most part!

I took them all....and the ones I'm in I set the camera, posed everyone and told my friend...."SHOOT!" LOL.....Hope you enjoy some fun new photos of my little family and I have already scrapped a few....hoping to post soon! Right now I'm trying to finish up with fall parties and bonfires and soccer :)
